Bullshit After Dark | Frist is Outa Control!

It's a Frist Doubleheader on Friday... Both the NY Times & WaPo are running frontpage stories focusing on Frist's plan to take over the world... uh, I mean the Senate, or, uh, the presidency... (which is it again?)

From the Times:
As the Senate heads toward a showdown over the rules governing judicial confirmations, Senator Bill Frist, the majority leader, has agreed to join a handful of prominent Christian conservatives in a telecast portraying Democrats as "against people of faith" for blocking President Bush's nominees.
Break out the popcorn and whiskey! It's gonna be better than the Superbowl (of course, not much could be worse... right?).

And the Post has it's own spin on Fristian bullshit:
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is all but certain to press for a rule change that would ban filibusters of judicial nominations in the next few weeks, despite misgivings by some of his fellow Republicans and a possible Democratic backlash that could paralyze the chamber, close associates said yesterday.... Frist says he is basing his decision on constitutional principles, not politics
Let's read that again:"Frist says he is basing his decision on constitutional principles, not politics"!

Holy Christ! That one is just staggering...

Bullshit! Bullshit! BULLSHIT!

Tomorrow should be a great day in blogland... get pleanty of sleep... rest those eyes and mouse-hands... massage that clicking finger
